KFAV Launches Westplextoday.com [Feb 15, 2007]

KFAV finally unveiled Westplextoday.com, on Feb. 14 after having the site up for a couple weeks. This site has the potential to greatly benefit the Troy community. Considering that the Lincoln County Journal website is mostly a waste of webspace in my eyes, Westplextoday.com is just what the community needs. Checking in each day with the T-roy B-log and Westplextoday will leave you feeling smarter than the average bear. Don't forget to do something with that knowledge and stop in over at lcmo.net

Trent Tomlinson Coming to Troy, Missouri? [Jan 31, 2007]

A newly added listing on Pollstar lists Trent Tomlinson as the newest edition to the 2007 Lincoln County Fair lineup.

The listing however, says Tomlinson will be performing on Tuesday, 7/17. Traditionally, the fair runs from from the second Tuesday in July until the second Saturday in July. That would make Tomlinson's performance on July 10. Tomlinson's official website also lists the performance as the 17th.

Tomlinson is from Kennett, Missouri, which is also the home of Sheryl Crow. Here is his myspace page where you can hear some of his songs. Tomlinson joins Heartland and Phil Vassar in the '07 Lincoln County Fair musical lineup.
