T-roy B-log Upgrades [Dec 20, 2006]

Yesterday, Google took the beta tag off the new version of Blogger and I took the opportunity to upgrade the T-roy B-log to the new version. Most of the changes are on my end, but there is one thing that is an awesome tool for the readers of this blog; tags.  At the bottom of each post, you will see the labels.  Click on a label and you will be able to see all of the things I have posted about in that category since I started this blog.  For your conveience, I labled this post with all the tags.  Enjoy and check back often.

Reminder: Car Show This Saturday [Aug 4, 2006]

Reminder, the 2nd Annual Car Show and Block Party is this Saturday on Main Street in Downtown Troy. Scroll down to see the schedule for the day. The city doesn't put on too many events like this. Wait. . .the City doesn't actually put on much of anything like this. Credit for this goes to the Downtown Historic Business Association and Auto Authority. Anyways, go and take advantage of the fun activities, booths, cars, and outdoor liquor licenses.

Don't Miss the Car Show and Block Party [Jul 24, 2006]

The 2nd Annual Car Show and Block Party will be held August 5th on Main Street in Downtown Troy. It's an all day event, going from 8 am -Midnight. There will also be a Karaoke Contest to crown a "Troy Idol" sponsored by C & S Karaoke. I doubt you'll get a recording contract but who knows. There will be a wide variety of events in addition to the auto show. The Block Party will be held in the evening and it will be an event you don't want to miss with live music and drinking in the streets. A variety of vendor booths will also be around. Shuttle service will be provided from the City Park and the Middle School.

The event is sponsored by the Troy Historic Downtown Business Association.

Auto Authority is one of the businesses involved with the THDBA. See the Auto Authority website

Gus Macker [Jun 2, 2006]

The 2nd Annual Troy Gus Macker Tournament is coming up. And you know what that means? The After-the Macker Downtown Block Party. I attended this event last year and it was good times. It seems like there will be even more things to do this year. Also beer was allowed out on Main Street last year, so that's always a plus. Grab the posse and head downtown for this on June 24, even if you aren't participating in some way with the basketball that weekend.
