Somebody Is A Little Slow [Jul 10, 2006]

So checking the Lincoln County Journal today, I was a little surprised to see articles about both the Nick Forler trial starting and area ball players earning all-state nods. If you check down a little ways, you will see that I reported both of those nuggets of information on 6/25. Somebody is a little slow on things.

Also, check out how on the front page of the sports there is a photo and caption about the Mad Hungarian being in Moscow Mills. If I am not mistaken, that story ran in last week's paper. I guess they couldn't find enough sports news to fill the paper and had to re-run things.

I guess they didn't think to run a decent story about how the Troy Legion Baseball team was seeded 2nd in the district tournament after finishing a 25-3 regular season? Yeah, it was news to me too. You would have thought that the LCJ would have been covering them throughout the season, but I guess there is just too much going on in Lincoln County Sports. Maybe somebody caught a big fish to steal the limelight?
