Forler Trial: Truck Speed/Teasley's BAC [May 17, 2007]
This article from the PD reports that Tyler Teasley's blood alcohol level was estimated at between .17-.19. I don't really think that was a factor at all in the events of that night though. It was also estimated that the truck moved backwards at around 3.35 mph, taking 7.78 seconds to hit the patrol car.

Foley Man Meets Jay Nixon [Mar 13, 2007]
Charles Cunningham, of Foley, was sued yesterday by Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon. He was cited on March 28, 2005 for openly burning tires in his yard, which violates the Missouri Air Conservation Law. Jay Nixon is not someone you want to cross paths with. I would expect this to end badly for the guy not named Nixon.

Gun At William R. Cappel [Feb 8, 2007]
This has not been a very good couple of months for William R. Cappel Elementary. First a student is hit by a falling beam and now a second grader brings a gun to school. The kid brought a loaded .22 to school on Wednesday. The parents were charged Thursday. They apparently had over 80 unsecured weapons at their home. The second grader didn't attempt to use the gun, he just showed it to another student. A third student overheard and reported it to the teacher.
Questions to ponder:
Who has 80 weapons?
Does this kid need a whoopin' or what?
Shouldn't someone take the parents behind the woodshed and give them a whoopin' too?
Here's a story on it
